We are vrbocm! We are located at 116 Reading Ave. Wake up each morning refreshed from the sea air. Take an e-z stroll to the beach to warm your toes in the sand. Eat breakfast on the sun porch and snooze in the rocker. Spend the afternoon in the large sunny living room relaxing or playing games. Grill some local fish or steaks and enjoy dining in or visit many of the local restaurants. And guess what, turn in for the night in your cozy bedroom and enjoy 6 more days just like the first! This house provides a larger entertainment area on the first floor and the privacy of a separate 2nd floor for an extended family. Please note that this is a large house and the pictures are deceiving, we purchased the house spring of ’05 and completed quite an overhaul in 2023. We continue our renovations through 2024 in the off season for the improved comfort and enjoyment of our tenants. We added new doors on first floor and windows in 2020! New luxury bath with marble floor also 2020!
This is the a great vacation beach house for those looking to be close to the water. This property is 1 block from the beach (there is only one house on the first block) see a peek of the ocean from the second floor deck. You can rent one or both units depending on the size of your family. The first floor sleeps 8 and second floor 6. We have additional air mattresses for a total of 16.
The rates are better for both units together. There is a 3 season sun porch that runs the width of the house. The house is very sunny with hardwood floors, there is a very expansive floor plan with 25′ living room (two queen sofas and entertainment center and is open to dining room, The first floor has one bedroom w/queen, another a king (or 2 twins) and the last 2 twins and also 2 full baths (one new 7/05 and updated in 2013); the second floor has a 2nd party kitchen, large open entertaining area, 2nd floor deck with peak of the ocean, 2 large bedrooms (one bedroom w/double, another a king (or 2 twins) and 2 new full baths (5/06). There is a nice level yard with off street parking for at least 3 cars, we just added cac on the first floor 1/06, 2nd floor has nice ac units (one in each room, bed rooms and living room). Rates vary greatly depending on # people, # days and time of year.

AA great stay!

We are a family of 5 and we travel from California to Cape May every summer to visit family. For the past two years we have stayed at this house and everything has been fantastic. Sally the owner is great to work with. She's easygoing and communicative. Her home is sparkling clean. In fact, it's so clean that my sisters who own rental condos down the street had me ask Sally who cleans her place because they were so impressed with the cleanliness of her home. Additionally, the home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including beach chairs, umbrellas and more. The location is wonderful as it offers a short and easy walk to the beach. Our last two stays have been so nice that we just booked the house again for 2024!

Our family rented both levels of this lovely home for our annual family vacation to Cape May! We were not disappointed! The house provided a great homebase for our family. It was so close to the beach and was a quick walk or bike ride to other Cape May "must dos"! There was plenty of room for our family to spend time together but also an opportunity to have some space if needed!! We plan on renting this home again!! We highly recommend!! Patricia Graham Wenonah New Jersey We rented both levels of this lovely home. First impression…super clean, completely stocked kitchen and a wonderfully eclectic, homey and comfortable decor. Sally is top notch. Responds quickly to any need … how to turn on a bathroom faucet to a locking the key in the house. House location is perfect. Block from the beach and we walked into town. We had our children and grandchildren with us and thanks to Sally’s hospitality, we made fantastic summer memories in 2023! I highly recommend booking this home.

We rented both apartments from Sally for our annual Cape May family vacation. Sally's home was very comfortable for our family of ten adults. Both apartments were exceptionally clean and well stocked with beach chairs and kitchen necessities. The outside shower was updated, clean and an added plus. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the beautiful second floor deck and were grateful for the short walk to and from the beach each day. n Cape May for a wedding so decided to make it a week’s vacation. Loved that it was a Sunday to Sunday rental for this purpose. We rented both units which gave us the extra space needed. Close to the beach for little and old ones. House was clean and well stocked. Owner was very attentive.

We stayed in the first floor unit and the house was perfect for our group. The location is fantastic - just one block from the beach, and a short walk to downtown. The house had everything we needed, including beach tags and chairs. The house is located in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood surrounded by other lovely homes. We had a fantastic time. Sally was accommodating and responsive and helped make our last-minute trip a success. We will definitely be coming back and staying at the house again. I can't recommend the property enough! ..Meghan
