The West Cape May Christmas Parade 2024

The West Cape May Christmas Parade 2024 sets the stage for the area’s holiday season! Always held on the first Saturday in December, and now in its 56th year, the parade marches through town beginning at the West Cape May Volunteer Firehouse, heading South on Broadway, turning East on Perry, and finishing its route through to the end of Carpenter Lane in the City of Cape May.

In the unfortunate event of inclement weather, the Parade will reschedule to (Sunday) December 3rd.  Notice of any rescheduling with be posted to the Borough’s website and social media pages.

The West Cape May Community Christmas Parade, Cape May’s biggest event of the winter, steps off at 5pm at the West Cape May Fire Hall. The parade can be expected to arrive in the Mall area sometime after 5pm, with a route that takes it on Perry Street and down Carpenters Lane. We invite you to come early for fabulous Christmas shopping, delicious food and drink, and so much more, as many merchants will have extended hours, all among picturesque holiday decor in the cozy heart of Cape May!
