Beachcombing at the Cove in Cape May

The Cove is a wonderful beach area in what used to be a thriving populated South Cape May. Due to a major storm many years ago the area is now completely devoted to nature. Explore one of the area’s ever-changing coastal habitats — the beach, ocean, and dunes of Cape May’s “The Cove” beach.  We’ll search the shallows to see exactly what we’ve been swimming with, comb the shoreline for the sea’s treasures, and walk along the dunes in search of wildlife. Meet a naturalist from the Nature Center of Cape May at the 2nd St. pavilion on the promenade on Beach Avenue in Cape May.
