Cape May Fireman’s Museum

The Cape May Fireman’s Museum is open and free to the public on a daily basis. Visitors will enjoy the history of the City of Cape May Fire Dept. The career personnel on staff will be happy to assist you. The Antique Fire Engine is a 1928 American La France and is housed inside the museum.
The Cape May Fire Department’s colonial style museum on Washington Street houses a 1928 American Lafrance fire engine, vintage engines, photographs and other pieces of fire fighting history. The building is a wonderful representation of a period fire house.
The museum is open and free to the public. Please come and enjoy the history of the City of Cape May Fire Department. Shirts can be purchased inside the Station.
