The Salty Mae

NEW NEW NEW!! Welcome to the Salty Mae! Built in 1910 and restoration completed May 2024. A duplex that sleeps 8-10 guests with every amenity you can ask for. Pack your bags and leave the rest to us! Your perfect Cape May vacation starts here.

Duplex, with 2 separate units/floors, rented as an entire home.

Each unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living space, dining, and TV.
Fully equipped kitchens and linens are provided.

*In total we have 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, 2 Kitchens, 2 Living Rooms.

*3 King Beds, 1 Queen Bed, 1 Queen Pull out Sofa bed (First Floor Living Room only).

*Front Porch with sectional sofa and rocking chairs
*Back yard with gas fire pit and BBQ
*All linens (except beach towels) are included
*8 Beach Chairs, Umbrella, Beach Cart
*4 Bikes
*8 Beach Tags
*Fully Equipped Kitchens with Coffee, Tea, Salt & Pepper, Olive Oil, Paper Products, Trash Bags, etc
*Washer and Dryer with laundry detergent

Guests have use of the entire house, both floors, back yard and porch.

If you have a smaller group, you can rent one floor of our duplex during September 1 – May 15. First Floor sleeps 6, Second Floor Sleeps 4. Please send us a message if you are interested in renting only one floor for your stay. We will provide you with a quote for your stay/dates.

Other things to note
Our home shares a common driveway/walk way with our neighbor. This area is not for parking. You may unload your vehicle here and then park on the street for the duration of your stay.

We have 2 TVs that are WIFI enabled for your streaming App Providers. You can log into your personal account (i.e. Netflix) and stream your favorite shows!! Or you can also watch some of the free channels that are provided via our TV network. Please note we do not have regular cable.

Please send an email with dates you are interested in and we’ll send back a quote. Pricing fluctuates with demand so we do not list actual prices on this calendar. There is a 4 night minimum June-August. There is a 2 night minimum September – May. Please email any questions.

Rates range from $800 – $2000 a night depending on time of year. Please send request with dates for an accurate quote.
